I threw a baby shower with one of my friends a few nights ago and I was in charge of the cake. I made a vanilla cake with this chocolate frosting recipe and everyone loved it. For anyone who is a chocoholic like me, you'll love this frosting. We even used it on Kyle's grooms cake when we got married. I keep getting requests for the recipe, so here it is!
3-4 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cups butter at room temperature
5 Tablespoons milk
1 Tablespoon light Karo syrup
3/4 cup cocoa
Directions: Mix butter, vanilla, milk, Karo syrup, and cocoa until light and creamy. Gradually add sugar. Mix until creamy - and add more milk if necessary.
