Oatmeal Toffee Squares


Oatmeal Toffee Squares
(These are heavenly!!!)

2 cups butter or margarine, melted
2 cups brown sugar
Mix the above until blended well.

Beat in: 2 eggs

Add in and mix the following:
½ tsp salt
2 cups flour
2 cups quick cooking oats
2tsp vanilla
Spread in a greased jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with chocolate and /or butterscotch chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. (Do not over cook.)
I got this recipe from the Serials Department recipe book. It is awesome and it makes a lot!

Awww, the serials cookbook! I was at BYU this week (for the first time in four years!) and walked over to the library and peered in the window to our old office. It was 6:15, so I knew no one would be there. But aah, the memories...
