8 oz cream cheese
1/8 tsp pepper
4 oz stems and pieces mushrooms
2/3 c Italian seasoned bread crumbs
3/4 c butter
2 c chicken or turkey
2 can crescent rolls
Cream together cheese, 1/4 c butter and pepper. Fold in chicken and mushrooms. Unroll crescent rolls. Spread 1/4 c mixture on each roll. Roll up. Dip in 1/2 c of melted butter. Then roll in breadcrumbs. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. (Good topped with gravy.)
Works best if your crescent rolls are a little firm or lightly frozen.
